The ship crossed the final stretch, and there it was in the distance: Xelvar. His planet. His home. But it wasn't the only thing in the display. There was a new, huge silhouette, floating nearby. An unknown, dark object, moving slowly, far too close to the orbit. Borsiis frowned. He had never seen that object before. He checked the navigation logs, but there were no alerts, no reports. Just that point, slowly growing in front of him. The feeling he'd carried the whole trip now weighed even heavier. Something wasn't right.
